I totally overlooked and underestimated this when it was released. It’s everything you would expect from STB/Ripple, but with a sinister heaviness that sets it apart. Glad I finally got the time to give it a good listen.

Anyone else find it a little embarrassing when a band puts so many effusive reviews up as testimonials? All that aside, I only recently found Clouds Taste Satanic. Not only do they take name inspiration from my favorite Flaming Lips album, but they’ve also become my favorite Doom band! They don’t hump the same riff for 18 minutes, there’s variation along the way.
